Augmented Reality took another step toward becoming a part of mainstream media when the New York Times rolled out immersive AR experiences for its readers during the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
The paper launched AR stories for readers using late-model iPhones and iPads with the latest versions of IOS. An Android Newsreader app is expected in the near future.
